Madtown Momma’s 2021 Holiday Gift Guide

With supply chain issues and shipping delays due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the holiday shopping season is starting a bit earlier than usual.

That said, I am here to help with holiday gift ideas for your loved ones!

I always encourage shopping local and supporting small businesses. However, this guide will be focused on items you may wish to order online from big box stores. Which you will want to do sooner than later, to ensure you receive them on time.

These ideas can be used to shop for your spouse/partner, parents, in-laws, siblings, relatives, or friends. If you are headed to a holiday party, consider one of these for the host/hostess as well!

This post includes affiliate links, which means I make a small commission when you click through and make a purchase from these links. It costs nothing extra for you to shop this way, but means the world to me as a blogger! Your use of my links helps keep the blog running.

Just click on any picture as you scroll through the guide to be taken directly to the website selling the item.

So, let’s get started!

For the Coffee Lover

We are big coffee drinkers in our house, so we have every coffee making device imaginable! If you are shopping for a coffee lover, I would recommend moving beyond the drip coffee maker to an espresso machine, french press, pour over, and/or burr mill grinder.

Espresso Machines

Burr Grinders

For Foodies

We have many a food device in our house, including two slow cookers, an Instant Pot, a Ninja Foodie system, and more. Every home chef needs good tools! I am hoping for an air fryer for Christmas this year, but also found that the Instant Pot now sells an air fryer attachment so we won’t need to store another full device! If folks on your gift list don’t have these must-have kitchen tools, here is where I’d start:

Instant Pot

Air Fryers

Blenders

For the Outdoorsy Type

As a camping family who enjoys being outdoors, we have learned the importance of having good gear! My mom gave me an LL Bean sleeping bag many years ago that has stood the test of time. And she gave my son one a few years ago that he has already used many times as well. One year, she gave us a nice Coleman Instant Tent as a gift too. Which has camped several times throughout Wisconsin and Illinois, and even made it to Yellowstone National Park this past summer.

If you are looking for gifts for the outdoorsy type, upgrading their gear would be a welcome gift!

For the Beauty Queen

If you are buying for a gal that likes to take good care of her hair, skin, and nails, beauty tools are a great gift idea. Think blow dryers, curling irons, smart skin cleansing devices, etc. Holiday makeup and hair care gift sets are great as well. And you can get all of these things at a variety of price points!

For the Homebody

I am a homebody, so I have not minded being at home much more than in previous years throughout the pandemic. As long as I have a cozy blanket, a candle burning, and the remote or a good book, I’m happy. Help your loved ones hygge this season and beyond with cozy home goods, or natural, sustainable home care products for a healthier home.

For the Jewelry Lover

I sold Stella & Dot for three years, so one might say I have a pretty extensive jewelry collection! So, jewelry is always in order when it comes to gift giving. My husband gave me a Kendra Scott Collector’s Box last Christmas, and it was a lovely gift! You can even personalize a piece to make it feel extra special.
