Hello there! And welcome to Madtown Momma LLC, a lifestyle blog about life as a 40-something mom in Madison, WI.
I’m Alicia. Otherwise known as “Madtown Momma”. I work in higher education by day and am a blogger/influencer by night. And, of course, a Mom, 24/7.
I live in the Madison area with my husband, son, and cat and like to wax poetic on everything from food and fashion, to fun and family, and everything in between. With lots of thoughts about lots of things, I write what I know to be true for me.
I have always wanted to be a writer and finally realized my dream when I joined the writing team of Madison Moms Blog (MMB) in 2017. Writing for MMB inspired me to start my own personal blog in 2019.
My goal with Madtown Momma is to simply keep it real. I want to show my true self. Speak in my actual voice. Talk about the good things in life, but share the hard things as well. Because that is what life is all about.
I also want to inspire you to live life to the fullest, whether it’s through sharing my favorite local businesses, travel spots, beauty products, or outfits.
I write when I can and I try to do so consistently at least once a month. Because that’s what I can do at this point in my life, as a full-time working mom, running a business on the side.
I am a lover of all things shopping related. A wife. Boy Mom. And Boss.
You can find me on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and LTK as well.
I hope that you will join me on this journey, as I keep it real about mommin’ in Madtown on madtownmomma.com!

Hi, I was hoping to write a blog post for your website, which shall benefit the both of us. I will provide you a 500-word blog that is relevant to your niche and in return, you can let me add a backlink within the body of the article. I pledge to deliver high quality content, which has not been posted anywhere else. If you find my offer reasonable, we may proceed. I look forward to hearing back from you. Have a good day! Regards, John Adam email@example.com
Thanks for your interest in writing for Madtown Momma! I am not accepting guest posts at this time. However, I’ll keep you in mind for the future should that change.
