What to Binge-Watch During “Safer at Home”
So, we are all stuck at home for an undetermined amount of time. Governor Evers says until April 24th, but we all know that the “Safer at Home” order in Wisconsin might last longer than that, along with the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.
I’m sure, like me, you’ve seen a million recommendations on what to do during self-quarantine or while social-distancing. And like me, you are probably sick of seeing them, while still finding some of the ideas and resources shared to be useful.
Since I am currently working from home 40 hours a week, along with going to graduate school online, I don’t have a ton of “down time” anymore. However, when I do allow myself a night off (or two) to relax, I turn to Netflix and Hulu to binge-watch my favorite shows, just like many of you.
Here are several of my recent “binge-worthy” favorites to help get you through the next month or so. Almost all of them feature female protagonists in honor of Women’s History Month as well.
SHRILL (Hulu)
HIGH FIDELITY (Hulu)
WORKIN’ MOMS (Netflix)
GOOD GIRLS (Hulu for current season & Netflix for previous)
THE BOLD TYPE (Hulu for current season & Freeform for previous)
KILLING EVE (Hulu for Season 1, AMC for Season 2)
SCHITT’S CREEK (Netflix)
I’M SORRY (Netflix)
YOU (Netflix)
Hopefully these will keep you entertained for awhile. I’d love to hear your recommendations as well! Please share in the comments below.
